in english "um die ecke" means something like around the corner. the opening track is like an intro that went far too long. this means, if you survive this first track, like an intro on a good metal album, the rest will be much easier to take...the concept of the whole album is easy to explain. i wanted to create a musical metaphor for a trip and its long landing. the first track is the trip itself. perhaps now you can understand, why it went so weird...
